Walk Reports

Saturday 5th September, Hurst Green to Oxted

2 of us; perhaps not too surprising given the lateness of the walk post. A good day out.

Saturday 10th October, Ockley to Warnham

An enjoyable day for the 3 of us. Morning section of this walk particularly good with minimal asphalt sections.

Saturday 31st October, Newport circular

2 of us on this good in some ways suited to the overcast morning. Rain held off until just before our arrival at Fleur de Lys, Widdington for an enjoyable lunch.

Rain cleared mid afternoon after we visited the enchanting Chapel of St Helen at Wicken Bonhunt. Thereafter the sun soon emerged resulting in a spectacular rainbow greeting on our arrival back in Newport.

Saturday 19th December, Amersham circular

3 of us on this walk suited to the time of year. Stopped for packed lunch at Chalfont St. Giles. (Pubs shut due to Tier 3 restrictions.)
